Statement:
I am so glad to have an opportunity to be part of Seven Straight Nights.

We all have a responsibility to stand for justice and equality in this world. Carmen de Monteflores once said that oppression can only exist through silence. There is an urgent need to speak out against any form of oppression in existence today. A very pressing issue of social injustice is the discrimination towards LGBT people. We cannot stand idle while people are denied rights and are subject to discrimination. I believe that it is extremely important for straight allies to unite and take action towards making the world a better place for our LGBT brothers and sisters. We cannot give up until there is equality for ALL.
