Event: Time Out New York's Back-to-school Blowout. Live Bands, Giveaways, etc. Soulforce NYC will have a table set up to give out literature, info on upcoming "podium Vigil" at Madison Square Park, and will have approx 10min on stage for guest speaker.

Time: 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Location: Marble Church, 29th Street and 5th Ave, 4th Floor.

Event: Connection, the young adults group at Marble Church, will host a forum/workshop on the importance of straight people taking a stand for LGBT equality and what that might look like in practice

Time: 4:00pm

Location: Pete’s Candy Store, 709 Lorimer Street, Brooklyn NY 11211

Event: Revolution Church will dedicate their Sunday service to 7SN

 

Wednesday, September 17th

Time: 4:30pm – 6:00pm

Location: Madison Square Park, 23rd and Madison Ave.

Event: Straight Allies walk on to park with "podiums", place themselves around the Northern Reflecting Pool and hold vigil.

Time: 6:00pm – 7:00pm

Location: Marble Collegiate Church, 29th Street and 5th Ave

Event: Participants walk to Marble Collegiate Church, oldest church in North America, for a mid-week service dedicated to 7SN.(29th Street and 5th Ave)

Time: 7:00pm

Event: Reception at Marble Collegiate Church

*Sundown: TBA possible Empire State Building light changes in honor of 7SN

Time: 7:00pm

Location: McCarren Park in Williamsburg Brooklyn; Revolution Church
